Its weird, how one day you have this friend who you barely see, but you still see what they've done, achieved and more through their social media. Then the next they're gone, its scary how life can turn upside down like that, its scary how a person who've taught you things, given you advice can be gone the next.
Well that happened to me, I'm not asking for pity and I know I am in no way strong and it is alright to cry. Many people go through this and everyday someone else loses someone important to them or as stated in the show The Flash (2015, Directed by Steve Shill, Season 2, Episode. 5) "Everyone loses someone they care about...The real test of character is what you do once they're gone". I may not have been that close with him, I may not have been one of those friends there by his side physically but always been there in spirit.
He taught me how it doesn't matter about getting a move done right, but to try my best and have fun. I've watched him perform many times, and every time he has done so, I can feel the effort, the emotions and hard work that has gone into it. So for him I do intend to continue doing my best and continue following what I love to do, to the best of my abilities.
It still seems all so crazy to me and it can always be so hard to comprehend. Even if people have gone through this pain, losing someone will always make you cry, the pain isn't any easier to handle. But if that person that has passed away, were to see me just drowning myself in sadness, I'm sure they would not want me to remain like that, I'm sure they would appreciate the fact that I cared for them. Even though my feet may feel heavier walking forwards, I know that I need to keep at it.
The friend I lost was happy person, constantly smiling, bringing the same and laughter to everyone he met. He would always give it his all to craft the dance pieces he did which were masterpieces and not to mention how he graduated with a diploma and a really high grade.
I know one day I will see him again if I am ever lucky to go to heaven and I know heaven would be glad to have that beautiful awesome angel up there.
So no matter what you go through, or who you lose. It is alright to cry. It is alright to grieve. But don't stop and always keep walking.
