Its been a while since the last I posted, mostly its been due to the fact that I have been really busy with university. Speaking of university, as part of my coursework, I and my classmates had to come together in order to create our very own film festival. Seeing how successful film festivals are such as the BFI or the East End Film Festival, you think at the beginning you'd be able to handle it, well not quite. Going through this project, there was much we over thought in terms of how to do it. Some of the people we assumed would help, didn't and we had to rely on those who were truly dedicated to making the film festival a success. There were many things to think about, from contacting venues as possible locations for hosting the festival to the way in which we would present the films and works.
