Why Do You Dance?

To me, dancing isn't simply a movement or a form of exercise, that you do in order to become more fit/healthy. To me dancing, dancing is a form of self-expression, it is an art that you hone and refine the more you practice, and as they say, practice makes perfect. To me dancing is my way of life, I always have to do it in order to be happy. When I dance I feel like I'm in my own world, where I am free of all obligations and expectations that people have for me. Even though it is brief, it is my own world and one that no one and no manner of force can get their way in. I dance my heart out every time, I may not be good, I may not always go dancing lessons. For me, it's not about being the best, proving something to someone, or even participating in competitions against others. It has always been about me and my love for dancing. With all of life's issues, it is always easy to forget and lose yourself in this chaos. There's work, university, family troubles, and...

Winter Lights Festival

It goes without saying the lights festival is a sight to see. The Winter Lights Festival, occurred in the Canary Wharf, East London area of London in the United Kingdom. The festival comprised of different installations that showed off the beauty of the lights in different ways. From using revolving prisms to waterfalls to lights travelling through trees. Even still, there were some very beautiful colours and designs to be captured.  I myself didn’t get a chance to see all the lights, but I did see as many as I can with one of my friends Nadia Ellewood. We went around on the last day however, the weather wasn’t the best to take pictures, even still me and her made the best of it. The spinning prisms were ...

Trip to Peggy Proschen Cakes | London Instagram Spots

Peggy Porschen Cakes is a nice little café in London, that is known for its aesthetic architecture and beautiful interior design and its cakes. It is place, many Instagram personalities would visit to get some very beautiful shots of them in front of such a beautiful café. The café itself is a nice pastel like pink which can really enhance someone’s Instagram profile but at the same time add that bit of splash of colour. This place has been on my list of places to visit for a while now, and needed someone to join me to experience this beautiful place with. Luckily, one of my friends Rachel (Konichiwakitty) invited me along and it was an experience that I loved. Me and Rachel had a wonderful time, full of fun laughs and taking beautiful aesthetic pictures together. Both of our outfits were bright colours and similar to the colour of the café which enhanced the final images that we took while we were there. My outfit was a hot pink top from Lazy Oaf; a long sleeve wh...
